While they have had some success, like the Wayne’s World franchise, they have had more than their share of stinkers with It’s Pat, Stuart Saves his Family, Coneheads, Superstar, and The Ladies Man. Unfortunately, for the movie-going public, they don’t. After 32 years of Saturday Night Live, you’d think Lorne Michaels and company would have the concept of making movies out of characters they create on television into characters for movies down to an art form.
